Astronomoo is a cow, the star in a children’s story about a ruminant in a rocket. That’s me pictured*, launching hilariously into the space of poets and artists. I worked as an oncologist
and served my stretch of time
but never guessed released from stress
I’d lead a life of rhyme

Goodbye to grim and serious
Hi frivolous and daft
No frazzled nurse needs comic verse
Oh how they would have laughed

Old lags return to hospitals
to end their days inside
Until that time this rhyming crime
just shows I haven’t died
